Assessment and Consultancy

Benefit from expert advice to deliver value across your projects, transform your organization and gain maturity

We put our expertise in DevOps, Cloud Native, and application and infrastructure security to work, to make sure your projects meet every requirement.

We provide services around application migration projects, to modernize and transform your applications toward a world of containers, cloud or serverless, so you can get the most out of them.

Infrastructure migration, in Infra-as-code mode, toward new technologies or toward the cloud, is another service we provide, through our team of engineers and architects who have been building and running applications in the cloud for over ten years. We have helped many clients migrate their applications to Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other platforms.

We also help you build a culture of observability and agility, so your teams can focus on creating value.

Tips by SoKube

Tips by SoKube : Tips by SoKube: How does a CI/CD approach fit into DevOps practice?

The CI/CD approach (continuous integration and continuous delivery) sits at the heart of DevOps practice. It consists of automating software development and delivery processes, to enable a fast and continuous time-to-market for software. In practice, the CI/CD approach involves several steps:

Continuous integration

During this step, changes made to the software’s source code are continuously integrated into the main codebase. This can be done using continuous integration tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.

Automated testing

During this step, changes integrated into the main codebase are submitted to automated tests to verify that they do not cause errors or regressions. This can be done using automated testing tools such as JUnit, Selenium, etc.

Continuous delivery

During this step, changes validated by the tests are automatically deployed to the production environment. This can be done using continuous delivery approaches and tools such as GitOps, ArgoCD, Flux, GitLab, etc.

Collaboration

Fostering collaboration and communication between development and operations teams to make sure changes made to the code are well understood and taken into account by everyone involved in the project.

We support you in implementing a “Cloud Native” maturity radar

At SoKube, we recommend setting up a “Cloud Native” maturity radar to assess and measure how mature your organization’s adoption of containerization, Serverless, on-premise or Cloud technology is.

Together, we can then determine where your organization stands on its journey toward full adoption of these technologies and identify the areas that need attention to move forward.

Our maturity radar can be used to assess the adoption of these technologies across different areas, such as strategy, processes, skills, technologies and architectures. It can also be used to measure the adoption of different on-premise or Cloud deployment models, such as infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS).

If you have already reached a high level of maturity, the maturity radar can also be used to identify the areas where work still remains to achieve full adoption of these on-premise or Cloud technologies. It can also be used to set maturity goals and define an action plan to reach them.

By implementing a maturity radar, your organization will benefit in many ways, including identifying the areas it needs to focus on to progress on its journey toward full adoption of these technologies, while also becoming more agile and more responsive to market changes.
