Cloud Architect

To complete our team of SoKubians, we are looking for a Cloud Architect. You will be responsible for implementing Cloud solutions, architecture and migration to various Cloud service providers for our clients. You will work in an Agile environment and have the opportunity to collaborate with SoKube and client teams. We like people who aren't afraid of challenges, who are ready to learn new things, and who are ready to give back to the community by helping their clients grow.

Job description

As a Cloud Applications Architect, you will be responsible for advising on and defining suitable architectures, proposing the best implementation based on the client’s context and maturity level, building migration paths aligned with client objectives, and taking a responsible approach towards the various teams involved as well as Cloud cost management.

You will work closely with the other members of our team to ensure all projects are aligned with client objectives, follow industry best practices, and meet high quality standards.

Your missions

Missions to promote and migrate to Cloud infrastructure with our clients
Support technology choices (providers, architectures)
Set up or optimize the Cloud Factory (infrastructure-as-code pipeline)
Understand and challenge applications to be deployed in a Cloud environment
Set up observability (Monitoring, Logging, Tracing)
Design Cloud and/or Multi-Cloud architectures and solutions
Contribute to writing detailed technical architecture documentation
Keep up with the technology watch on the evolution of Cloud solutions
Ensure the security and reliability of deployed environments
Implement the tools needed to set up DevOps practices
Training and audits
Help optimize costs (FinOps)
